OMEC Mediterranean Energy Scenarios Experts Meeting – MEP 2025 Scenarios
On January 27, 2025, the OMEC team convened an experts meeting to introduce the scenarios for the next edition of the Mediterranean Energy Perspective (MEP), scheduled for publication in spring 2025.
The session featured a detailed presentation outlining the various scenarios under consideration. The presentation provided a thorough framework for the discussions that followed, where OMEC members and representatives engaged in an active exchange of ideas. The participants explored the scenarios from multiple angles, offering valuable technical feedback and proposing alternative approaches to ensure the final publication reflects the complexity and diversity of the region’s energy future.
