OME at the MENA Europe Future Energy Dialogue (MEFED) in Jordan
As one of the co-hosting organisations of MEFED 2022, OME was a key actor in this important gathering which took place on 8-9 June 2022 in the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre on the Dead Sea in Jordan. The conference was held under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of Jordan.
Senior level representatives of governments, industry, academia, and civil society shared and exchanged experiences as well as ideas for a reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy supply and cooperation opportunities between EU and MENA countries.
OME co-organised an event on « Regional integration possibilities », together with UN ESCWA, League of Arab States and RCREEE, and organised the event « From Vision to Action : Translating the objectives of the UfM Ministerial Declaration on Energy into a Roadmap ». Both events took place on June 9th.
