Energy Transition in the Mediterranean area: Official presentation of WEC Med Energy Transition Checklist
On 23 April 2024, The OMEC organized an official side-event entitled “Energy Transition in the Mediterranean area: Official presentation of WEC Med Energy Transition Checklist”. The event was organized jointly with WEC-Italia and in collaboration with Edison, as part of the WEC Congress held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, from 22 to 25 April. It was the occasion to present the joint WEC MED Energy Transition Checklist initiative, with the participation of the Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Giorgio Novello, the Chair of the World Energy Council Michael Howard, the OMEC Director General Houda Ben Jannet and the Secretary General of WEC-Italia Paolo D’Ermo. OMEC delegation also included Matteo Urbani, Senior Advisor who presented OMEC contribution to the WEC Initiative.
