Final Event: “Back to the Future – A Forward-Thinking Approach to Concentrating Solar Technologies”
OMEC, as leader of the Communication, Dissemination, and Exploitation Work Package, is pleased to announce the project’s Final Event, taking place on April 24, 2025, from 09:30 to 14:30 CET, with an optional Technical Tour from 14:30 to 17:00 CET.
The hybrid event will be held in Husinec u Řeže, Czech Republic, and online via Lifesize, providing a platform to present the project’s key takeaways to the public.

COMPASsCO2 Final Workshop Registration
The workshop will bring together researchers, industry professionals, and stakeholders to discuss key aspects of integrating Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) into sCO₂ power plants, focusing on:
- System efficiency and thermodynamic performance
- Solid particles and coatings for heat transfer and storage
- Cr-superalloys and coatings for particle/s-CO₂ heat exchangers
- Material screening and lifetime estimation using advanced modeling systems
- Industrial applications and future research directions
