Green Energy Technologies Committee meeting
On 11 June 2024, the OMEC Green Energy Technologies Committee convened online. The meeting concentrated on OMEC’s programme of work, encompassing both newly launched initiatives and ongoing studies. Discussions covered the new study on Sustainable Mobility in Mediterranean, focusing in the first phase on maritime transport. The agenda also included the ongoing activities, namely EC funded projects (COMPASsCO2 and MSA-Trough), OMEC database, webinars, as well as the MED-Initiative, which aims to explore opportunities for renewable energy and renewable hydrogen cooperation in the Mediterranean.
