Interoperability and strengthening cross-border collaboration

OMEC will participate in the new edition of the European Gas Conference 2024 to be held in Vienna from 26 to 28 March 2024. The European Gas Conference gathers executives, government and international industry leaders from more than 35 countries to focus on how key developments across the global natural gas industry impacts the European market. The three-day event is designed to foster diversification and cross-border collaboration, ensuring the security of supply is balanced against today’s decarbonisation challenges. OMEC will be represented by its Director of Natural Resources and Energy Security, Sohbet Karbuz, who will participate in the debate on “Does the South and Eastern Mediterranean region represent Europe’s best response to natural gas supply and security?”.
