An Overview with a Focus on Challenges and Opportunities
The objective of the study is to provide an overview of the recent developments in the upstream oil and gas sector in North Africa for each country. The study stresses on main constraints and challenges each country faces in its respective upstream sectors.
The study also looks at conventional oil and gas reserves and resources for each North African country; recent discoveries; exploration activity and licensing rounds; investment terms; field development projects; past and future production (based on OME MEP 2015 findings); and the linkage between future production and import/export infrastructure needs.
