This paper entitled “how much can the Mediterranean region substitute Russian gas supplies to the EU” presents the options available to the EU to bring gas from alternative supply sources in quantitative terms, with a focus on the role and significance of the South Mediterranean region. It was prepared by the Hydrocarbons and Energy Security Division of the OME.
